Thunder!

This morning as I was pulling out of the driveway, I saw the most beautiful flower ever....in OUR flower bed! I have been watering and fertilizing these lilies all Spring in anticipation of what I saw this morning! It was so beautiful! I got so excited I just had to stop the car and take a picture. God's creation is so amazing and I am so thankful for the simplest, most beautiful flower that helped remind me how good God is and what an amazing God we serve!

So this past weekend Spencer and I were in Louisville, KY for Thunder Over Louisville. Over 700,000 people were in attendance lining the Ohio River banks. Now some of yall have been asking me what in the heck is Thunder. Well, let me tell you. Thunder is the kick-off to the Kentucky Derby, which is held 2-weeks later in Louisville. It starts at 3pm and there is an air show complete with WWI and WWII planes, Blue Angles, Stealth bombers, helicopters, F-16, F-22....you name, we saw it. To finish it all off, the day ends with the nation's largest fireworks display. My grandpa's company hosts a party in a rotating restuarant so we get a panaramic view of the whole show! All the cousins on my mom' side were there with their husband and bf, my grandmother, my papaw and grandma bunny, 2nd cousins, great uncle, my parents, Allan and Betsy. It was a mini reunion! :) I have a few pictures below from the weekend...more coming! :)
