So, today was rather tramatic for Miss Bailey Mae. Oh, I was so worried about her. So, Spencer and I came home for lunch today. I had to leave before Spencer because my work is farther away than his. Well, he calls and goes "Emily, Bailey just got bit by a SNAKE!
He was sitting on the back porch and heard her yelp then she came high-tailin' it to the back porch and she leaped into his lap. He went to go check things out and found this....
A 4 1/2 foot black rat snake. Thank goodness they aren't poisonous. Spencer karate chopped its head off with the pooper scooper. So now we need another one because he also karate chopped the pooper scooper to pieces. Spencer took her to the vet and she said Bailey would be fine. Then she had the nerve to ask if we still had the snake because she wanted it! Umm...hello!? Spencer karate chopped it. :) 
TOOO Funny - I mean not that your dog had to go through that - that part is not funny! When you said he "karate chopped" the snake - that was funny! Glad your pup is okay!

ReplyDeleteDid you really have to put up a pic of a snake without a warning before it?! I mean really. Way to go Spencer for killing it! I strongly believe that the best place for all snakes is dead!
