Friday!

I am so glad today is Friday. It has been a really long week, especially coming back from being away for 10 days and work was just crazy busy. I am very thankful for a break of the busyness of work!
Tonight Spencer and I are going to be Salvation Army Bell Ringers at the mall! Our church sponsors a site and we did it last year and it was pretty fun! It is supposed to be cold tonight so that will make it even better! Speaking of cold, it is SNOWING in our hometown in Waco, Texas. That is almost unheard of! Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow! :)
Today at work I found out some bummer news. They are freezing 401k matching contributions and there will not be any performance-based salary increases. I know I should not be bummed because I am very thankful for the job that I have - I could be in a lot worse of a position!
At lunch today I tried out a new restaurant on the Intercoastal - Palm Valley Fish Camp. It was really good, except it was their "Fashion Show Friday" and these "models" awkwardly walked around and posed in front of your table with different outfits from the featured boutique. The clothes weren't even that cute! Skin tight skinny jeans with rhinestones on the butt and knee-high leather boots - umm no thank you.
Tomorrow Spencer and I's lofty goal is to finish (and start) all of our Christmas shopping! Yes we are organized and armed with our lists of things to get and places to go. It could make for an interesting Saturday! :)
Happy Weekend to everyone!

  2. I didn't even get to tell you hello yesterday, so HELLO!! I hope y'all had a fun time shopping! We have not even started our Christmas shopping, yet. I think maybe I'll just pass Dallas around to my family and let them all hold her for a minute as their Christmas present :)

  3. We have not started our Christmas shopping either... I hope you guys got a lot done this weekend. I think that I am going to recruit Josh to do most of the shopping (armed with a detailed list of course) since he will have 2 weeks off before the blessed event.
