Christmas in Texas - the second week

So I have pretty much decided I don't like being apart from Spencer. So this second week was kinda lonely - good thing I had Bailey to keep me company!
So here's the rest of my time in Texas:

Monday 28th:
I went to Salado with my very good friend Britni and her 5-month old baby Hunter! He is the best baby ever. He did not cry once the whole trip and was always so happy and in such a good mood! Salado is a town about 45 minutes south of Waco and they have a whole street lined with shops - home home decor to crafts to antiques to side walk cafes to a Thomas Kindcade gallery. It is a fun place to go and stroll. I found several things for our house!

Tuesday 29th:
My mom and I went to Dallas to go shopping at the North Park mall. I absolutely despise this mall. Whoever designed the layout was seriously not thinking. It is a huge square on top of a square with shops lining the outside and then more little "hallways" of shops branching off if the ends. So confusing! We did see Amy, though, with her sister and their kids! Amy's parents are pretty good friends with my parents and we grew up at the same church! It was so fun running into her!

Wednesday 30th:
My mom and I met Spencer's mom and sister for lunch at this fun cafe in downtown Waco. After we got done with our 2-hour lunch, we went to Spice and went shopping! well, more like browsing. :) That night we went to watch the Baylor women completely dominate UT-Pan American. It was like they were playing a high school team!

Thursday, 31st
So, I can't remember what we did...maybe run and do some errands? yeah have no idea. I know my parents and I went over to the Wommack's again for dinner and then we went to the airport to pick up Spencer! The the four of us went out to the ranch and played dominoes for a while.

Friday, 1st
Yeah, I can't really remember what we did today either. I think it was a lazy day in our pajamas around the ranch. Spencer and I had a rehearsal dinner in Salado at 6pm so we left Waco around 5pm I think.

Saturday, 2nd:
We woke up and got ready to head to Ryan and Dori's wedding in Salado. It was a really fun and personal wedding - you could tell the bride and groom were really happy! After the wedding we came back, loaded up our car and loaded it past capacity ha and then headed out of town.
We got to Mobile at 4am Sunday morning and then finished up the drive Sunday and got it around dinner time. I am glad to be back in my own bed in my own house! :)
