We came into Waco early Friday so we could hang out with Spencer's grandpa, Popeye. We celebrated his 80th birthday a few months ago. We had such a good visit and he had the BEST chocolate chip cookies at his house! Oh my gosh I had to refrain from eating all of them.
My birthday weekend was also Baylor University's graduation. Our dear family friends' daughter was graduating so my mom made her family breakfast and brought over a green and gold graduation cake the night before. Beth's brother Paul (the tall one) and his wife Angela were in town, too! Along with Beth's boyfriend, Todd.

We ate lunch at Red, Hot and Blue. It is Memphis style barbeque and was pretty good, especially the pecan cobbler we had for dessert!
My Great Uncle Gran Dan and Great Aunt Mimi

After lunch, we went over to Allan and Betsy's new house! It was so cute and they had it looking really nice! WE watched Shrek and ate cookie cake..which I did not have a piece of, surpising I know.
Sunday we drove back to Horseshoe Bay and Spencer's parents came down that afternoon as well.
On Monday, my actual birthday, Spencer let me sleep in until 10am, which was AMAZING! We also went and looked at a house (more on this later) and went to a fun Italian buffet. I was very good and only got veggies and a tad bit of pasta! And maybe 2 pieces of cinnamon breadsticks! :) Spencer let me take a nap when we got home (yea!) and then we went to my "Surprise."
The surprise was going to Alamo Draft House to eat dinner and see Robin Hood! Spencer called my friend Andrea and her husband and they surprised me!! It was SO good to see them! I had never been to a place like this before...you eat dinner while you watch the movie! So fun! :)
