Louisville-Day 1 & 2

So, I'm finally updating my blog after it was brought to my attention by a friend in Florida that I was overdue for an update. So, here they are! :) 

Every year in April my family goes to Louisville, KY for Thunder over Louisville. It is the big pre-party that kicks off all of the Derby Festivities and it happens to be the largest fireworks display in the country. The fireworks are beautiful - I never get tired of watching them. Except this year the music was weird - super hero theme songs - which sounds cool, but it wasn't. They played the theme song from Cheers immediately followed by Jesus Christ Superstar followed by Batman or something...very interesting. :) 

I came up a day early and got to see my Aunt Dawson (my dad's sister) and Uncle Rich. It has become tradition we always meet them at Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Even though I was on Weight Watchers, I did SO good! Turkey sausage, egg whites, 1/2 a pancake and a biscuit. That's pretty good for a Cracker Barrel breakfast. :)  We even sent my Grandma that was in Florida a video message to say hi and that we missed her! She usually comes but had to be a snowbird and stay in Florida. :)

Thursday night we had dinner with my other aunt (mom's sister) and uncle, cousins and my mom's mom. I always have such a fun time with them! :)

Friday, I got to hang out with my cousin Elizabeth! Yay! I had ice cream at her house! Oops! Bad Weight Watcher, bad! haha her little dachshunds are the cutest things ever! We had dinner at Macaroni Grill with like 20 people - I felt like I should have been Italian or something....haha! Too bad I don't have any pics!
