For our anniversary weekend, Spencer's parents took us to Las Vegas! Nice, right!? We were so excited to go. I had never been before and thought it was all casinos, cards and slots. My first question was, "We're staying how long?" And then, "Am I supposed to be in a casino the whole time?" Little did I know what all Vegas had to offer! :)
We stayed at the Wynn - it was absolutely beautiful! Dummy me forgot to take pictures. As soon as you walked in, there was a beautiful flower garden with white Christmas lights in the trees. Beautiful! I am SO ready for Christmas.
Our first night we went to see Cirque de Solei's "O." Those people are incredible! They were jumping and flipping and diving into water. I will admit though, it was kinda creepy-like. The characters were slinking around everywhere and it had a eerie vibe to me...but the performers were so talented so that helped distract me from the creepiness! :)
Waiting for "O" to start! |
My favorite day was going through the shops at Caesar's Palace. They had a huge H&M! AND, fellow preggos, they have maternity now and the price is right! You could say I bought a few things...or several...or a lot! :) We won on slot machines!
For lunch we ate at this chocolate restaurant. They had a chocolate menu, for lunch! Chocolate pizza! No, I didn't get any but I did get a ginormous Smores sundae for dessert!! It was as good as it looked!
yay chocolate! |
I tried to finish my sundae....but couldn't :( |
Our last night, we saw.....SUGARLAND!!! My all-time favorite! :) They were performing at the MGM Grand and were amazing as usual! They even did a medley of Britney Spears, Beyonce, and a few others! They are so talented!
Have yall ever watched Pawn Stars before? Well, the store is in Vegas so of course we had to go check it out! The guys weren't there though...huge bummer! It was still fun to look around the store. They actually had some pretty cool things.
Overall, the trip was not what I expected at all! Vegas was so much cleaner, nicer and had so much more to offer than just casinos! :) I gambled some and my new favorite is 3-Card poker! :) hehe!
