Turkey Day

For Thanksgiving, my grandparents from Kentucky came to visit! We were so excited to find out they were coming! :) It was also my Grandma Bunny's birthday the Monday after Thanksgiving so we celebrated her birthday, too!

We had such a great visit with them. We watched football and basketball, played dice games and of course ate lots of delicious food! :)

Papaw and Grandma Bunny! I love them so much!
On Friday, some of our very dear friends we met while we lived in Jacksonville came to visit!! They were in Texas visiting family in Dallas so they came to Waco to see us! Yay!! It was so great to see them and we had so much fun! We took them to George's for lunch and then we went out to Spencer's family ranch to show them a real Texas ranch! haha :)

Overall, our Thanksgiving Holiday was wonderful. We have so much to be thankful for and God has granted us so many blessings that we take for granted everyday. My goal for 2012 is to always be thankful in every situation and to always be aware of God's blessings, no matter how small they seem to be. I want to always have a heart of Thanksgiving! If you are always looking to be thankful, the negative  things in life will seem smaller and smaller. The Book of Psalm is a great place to find some amazing verses on being thankful! Just look at the concordance! :)
