Dawn Johnsen is President Obama's nominee to head the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel. I am in shock. Call it me being naive, but I do not understand her thought process. Why do people so feel entitled to their own views of life and of their own life, when their very being, the very breath they breathe, is from God? That he holds our life in His hands? That we would not exist without him?

I understand that unplanned pregancy happens. I understand that not everyone wants to be a parent. I do know that there are many, many families out there who are willing to adopt an unwanted child and love him/her as their own. I know there are alternatives to abortion. What I don't understand is people who are so selfish they only think of themselves, not of their child - planned or not.
