"Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. 4 Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. "
Titus 2: 3-5
We were assigned a mentor during the study. My mentor has been married to her husband for 56 years. Isn't that amazing!? She is the sweetest lady and loves the Lord so much. Every Monday our group meets for about three hours. A lady from the church comes in to teach us how to prepare a meal, then we have our Bible Study and then we eat!
Last week they gave us the recipe for a side salad, which tonight, I made into an entree salad. It was SO good and SO easy and I just HAD to share the recipe! :) And it makes a very pretty salad. I should have taken a picture! Oh well.
I had Spencer grill boneless, skinless, chicken breast on the grill. I think he seasoned it with Liquid Smoke, tabasco and Tony Cachere's Cajun Spice. While he was cooking, I took butter leaf lettuce and tossed it with walnuts, dried cranberries, broccoli, mandarin oranges and raspberry vinaigrette dressing. When the chicken was done, I laid it on top of the lettuce mixture. And voila! You're done. All in less than 30 minutes. :)

I am so glad that you are doing Apples of Gold! I absolutely loved it when I did it... it is so inspiring being around such Godly women! Let me know how it goes!
