Southern Living Would be Proud

If I do say so myself...
Saturday afternoon we had our church small group over for dinner and watch football. We had 11 people come! I decided this would be the perfect opportunity to test my domestic skills so needless to say I think I stressed out my poor husband because I was running around crazy all week trying to get everything ready. I think it all turned out ok!

All the yummy food! Surprisingly, we didn't have too much food left over.

Sweet friends Rebecca and Jessica. Rebecca is a Baylor grad, too AND she is from Texas. This equals instant friendship. Jessica is in our Sunday School class and is super sweet! Her husband is in the Navy and is on a 3-wk mission so he couldn't come.

Ok, funny story. I asked Spencer to toast more hamburger buns on the grill because we had run out. He put them on and then came back inside. Well, maybe 20 minutes later we look outside and the grill is SMOKING. We forgot about the buns! They were complete hockey pucks - black and toasty. All the smoke from the grill came rushing in the house and the fire alarms start going off! Spencer claims this was to my doing because I left the door open to go get my camera - well at least we have a picture.

Earlier on Saturday we had our golf lessons at TPC Sawgrass. No blisters this time! Yea! I never thought I would get up so early on a Saturday - by choice. It was nice though watching the sun come up on the golf course.
After lessons, we had breakfast with our friend Winnie and Alan and baby Clara and Josh and Rebecca. We hadn't seen Josh and Rebecca since they moved to Birmingham! I really do miss her!!
At church before they left :(

We had such fun a weekend and I am glad we have today to catch up on rest! :)
