New Meal to Add to the Rotation

So, I get tired of cooking the same things over and over - like I am sure everyone else does. Spencer and I were at the grocery on Saturday and we ran across this stir fry sauce we thought we would try. I never use stir fry sauce - I always just kinda make my own up - which could be why I don't fix it so much...anyways..we tried the sauce last night and it was SO good! I mean really good! I would definitely recommend it! And it was super easy and quick. It is Kikkoman Stir Fry sauce and I found it in the ethnic food section at Publix. Does that seem weird to yall there is an ethnic food section? Ok, so this is how I made my "Please fix me again" stir fry. ha.

I put a teeny bit of extra virgin olive oil in a skillet and cooked mabye 1 or so pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breast - I cut it up into little pieces first. Ok, get the chicken all cooked up, then remove from pan and drain if needed. In the same pan saute your veggies - take your pick - I used broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. I added a bit more EV olive oil. Then dump the chicken in and add the sauce! Stir it up a bit and you are done! I used a little more than 1/3 C of the sauce but it is up to you. I was trying to watch the sodium. That's the only bad thing - this is a bit high in sodium, so don't fix it as much! :) I served the stir fry over egg noodles - which are SO good by the way and better for you since they are entirely made of eggs and water and maybe flour? Anyway, definitely recommend them!

  1. We love that sauce too & actually had the exact same thing earlier this week! The only variation is that I buy one of the frozen veggie bags at Publix (there is actually one that is called asian stri-fry) and then we serve it over brown rice. Yummy & SO EASY!!
