And yes I washed my hands before taking this picture. :) We found out we were having twins on Jan. 19th at my 7-week ultrasound. The doctor was conducting the ultrasound and we saw the first baby - which was SO cool and amazing. The baby was about the size of a lima bean and you could see his little heart just fluttering like crazy! So the doctor was checking things out and I think Spencer saw the second baby right after the doctor did. He goes, "umm...what's that other white thing?" No answer. Several seconds go by then finally the doctor goes....."Y'all are having twins!" Talk about major freak out moment. We are SO excited. Oh my gosh. I can not wait! :) My due date is Sept. 5th but the doctor said twins can arrive 2 - 4 weeks early so who knows when they will come - mid August!?!?
Other fun news...one of my very best friends, Christine, is also pregnant! We are only 4 days apart!! haha We didn't even tell the other one we were thinking about having kids! I am so excited to be able to share this time with her!

ReplyDeleteYay! And congrats again! I gotta say, Spencer is one of the cutest guys ever around babies. You can really tell that he'll be a good daddy. You're seriously going to have to document every minute of this pregnancy and especially take lots of pics once y'all are back in TX.
