31 Weeks

I can't believe I am 31 weeks! Holy Cow! We are now starting to go to the doctor every week. We went last week at 30 weeks, too, but there really wasn't too much to report.

The tone of the doctor visits have changed, which is exciting! Now we are talking more about delivery and timing and next week we get to schedule an inducement date! My doctor doesn't want me going past 38 weeks so that means sometime between now and August 22 (week 38) the twins will be here! Yay!

At our doctor appointment on Tuesday, Jacob weighed 4 lbs 3 ozs and Tyler weighed 4 lbs 2 ozs and I weighed 183 pounds! haha :) I had only gained 2 pounds in 2 weeks, which is all baby weight. I don't know how that happened because I definitely consumed my fair share of Blue Bell over the past few weeks. :) Overall, I have gained 29 pounds and I am also measuring 44 weeks.

I have not dilated yet, which is really good, and he said everything is looking good. He also said I am a very strong candidate for a C-Section. Not because I'm carrying twins, but because of the placement of Tyler's umbilical cord into the placenta. Instead of being inserted in the center, the cord is inserted on the top of the placenta, but very near the edge. Natural birth could cause the blood vessels to rupture and cause bleeding for Tyler and for me.

Here I am at 30 weeks 2 days...I haven't taken my 31 week picture but I don't think there is much change from last week.

I am really starting to feel pregnant. My back constantly aches and now my ribs are aching all the time. I guess the boys are running out of room in there! :) haha. I am very thankful for my doctor putting me on house arrest. Just going to the doctor wears me out and it takes me a day to recover! haha Thank goodness for the pool! I feel like I am waddling now when I walk and people stare at me awkwardly. Yeah, I appreciate that one. Sometimes I want to walk up to them and be like "Haven't you ever seen a pregnant lady before!?"

Last week I got a pre-natal massage. Oh my gosh it was heavenly and SO relaxing. I can't believe how much it helped. I definitely recommend it. I got to lay on my belly! The table had a hole for my belly and for my boobs. haha! Oh my gosh I can't tell you how amazing it felt. After my massage I got in the "relaxation pool" and just floated. Oh, I might just have to go back. haha :)
