It seems like time has flown by since Christmas! I just looked at my blog today and realized I hadn't posted in 2 weeks! I guess time flies when you're having fun. :)
Spencer and I had a wonderful Christmas. It was really different from previous Christmases though. The past two we spent at least a week in Waco and drove from Florida to Texas. This year we were in Waco for two nights and 2 1/2 days! It really is nice being so close to family and only having to drive two hours.
Friday night and part of Christmas day we were with Spencer's family. We had Christmas dinner, player Mexican train (a domino game) and then woke up at 7am...yes, 7am...to open presents. We got a lot of fun stuff and I think everyone liked what we got them! :) The rest of Christmas Day and Sunday we spent with my family. We had the complete Turkey Dinner and it was amazing! My mom has also started the tradition of ordering a cheesecake from Junior's Cheesecake in NYC. Oh. my.gosh. It is the best cheesecake ever. I look forward to it all year. :) We opened presents with them Christmas night and then went to go look at Christmas lights, which is starting to become a Christmas night tradition. I love it! :) Sunday we saw The Tourist with Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp...highly recommend! :)
Overall, we had such an amazing Christmas. We are so blessed beyond words. I am kicking myself for not taking pictures. Christmas Day was pretty emotional. It was the 5th month since the boys. We miss them SO much but know they are in a better place.
The Tuesday after Christmas, I had probably one of the most fun days I have had in a long time! Roomie Reunion!!! :) We were missing a few but 4 of us were able to get together. I miss us all being together but I am glad at least Britni lives close and Ann lives in Austin, too. Don't worry we are trying to get Tiffany back to Texas. :)
