Spring Time = Zoo Time!

I absolutely LOVE going to the zoo - any zoo. I would be perfectly content with taking a vacation around the US going to award-winning zoos. haha Maybe I'm weird, I don't know, but I just love observing the animals and getting to see such a wide variety! I've heard the Austin Zoo is awful - like not even school field trip worthy. So, last week, I decided to burn up 35 and head north to go to the Waco Zoo with my dear friend Britni and her son Hunter! I used to go all the time in college with some kids I babysat. We would go at least once a week in the summers.

Oh my gosh we had so much fun! The Waco Zoo is actually a really good zoo. Not San Diego good but still better for a town of Waco's size. It is so fun experiencing something with a child. Hunter would get so excited with each animal and was so inquisitive with each animal. I loved it! I even got to take him into the snake area because Britni doesn't like snakes! haha

I took some really cute pics but for some reason they aren't appearing in iPhoto when I go to upload them to blogger! You'll just have to check Britni's blog if she posts any pictures. :)
