News

So, Spencer and I have some news that we are so humbled and so grateful and so thankful to announce. We are pregnant! I am due February 21 so that makes me 13 weeks on Tuesday.  At this point it seems like  we are just going through the motions, this being our 3rd pregnancy and 4th child, which is so hard to believe. We've really had to trust in God's plan and not to be anxious about the unknown but just to cast our worries upon Him. It really is amazing the weight off of your shoulders when you fully give over everything to Him.

We are so thankful to be pretty much through the 1st trimester. We had such a good doctor's appointment last week - we had our 12-week sonogram and the doctor said our little baby looked as healthy as can be and was growing at the right pace and so far, so good!

I am feeling great, now. For a few weeks, I could not eat hardly anything except Cheerios! I even lost 5 pounds, but I am starting to gain that back now that food actually looks appetizing again. My energy level is picking up, which is nice. Although I do think I will still be taking a few afternoon naps. :) I'm still able to go to my spin classes which is awesome! It is so different being pregnant with one instead of two...I can do so much more physical activity! I don't even feel pregnant so I have to be careful I don't push myself while exercising. :)

I'm not showing yet, which I didn't start showing with the boys until 15 weeks. I would assume I would show later with this one, but who knows. They say you start showing earlier with subsequent pregnancies so we shall see!

I wish February 21 was today but God is teaching me patience and making me rely on Him and trust in Him! We are just SO thankful that God has allowed us to be parents again!
