"We Don't Want Weeds in Our Bed"

Says the pansies from Alice in Wonderland. :)  And I couldn't agree with them more! After probably of a month and a half of laziness and walking by my flower beds gasping at the atrociousness of the weed population, I FINALLY took action!

haha :) Let's just say there were a lot, now they are gone!

I spent almost 3 hours pulling weeds, trimming bushes and trimming back my rebellious lantanas. The pictures don't even do the beds justice, but I sure am proud of my work. haha It's the little things, right!? :)

 I think for Fall, I might put some mums or other Fall flowers in some pots in the beds...still thinking about it so we'll see what I come up! Or, let's be honest....what the Lowe's guy suggests. :)
