Los Angeles

At the end of September we all went to LA with Spencer's family. They were already going so we decided to tag along with them. It was such a fun trip. We went with no expectations or agenda, just looking for a scenery change. We ended up having such a fun and relaxing time. Maddi did great with adjusting to the time change of being two hours behind. She ended up cutting a tooth while we were there so all three of us didn't get much sleep. :) We had dinner in the hotel room and ordered room service one night. It was so much fun. I felt like a little kid again...we had an ice cream sundae for appetizer, burgers and fries for dinner and milk and cookies for dessert. SO much fun. Good thing we had gone to Disneyland that day and hopefully burned a few calories to at least justify one bite of the burger. haha

I am a huge Disney fan so of course we had to go to Disneyland. It was so crowded and hot and almost miserable...but it is Disney, the happiest place on Earth! haha

Spencer's aunt and cousins live a few hours south of LA so they came up one morning to see us. How nice was that!? It was so good to see them and catch up!

Sunday night we went to the beach and to a friend of Spencer's family house in Malibu. We had a relaxing dinner and got to see a beautiful California sunset. Maddi has now been to the Gulf and Pacific beaches!

I'm so glad we went. Even though we had both been before in college, I feel like we had such a fun trip and even got to relax! haha
