I'm a Slacker

So, I haven't posted since May 22nd! Sorry, all you blog people that wait on the edge of your seat for my next posting...hehe jk :) In my defense, we have had a TON of stuff going on the past 12 days, believe it or not. So, here's a brief overview - I'll post a few pictures later. I still need to load pictures from my camera.
May 23: Arrive in Texas and frantically race down to Austin for Andrea's rehearsal/rehearsal dinner. Yea! :)
May 24: Andrea's wedding! She was an absolutely beautiful bride! The cake was delicious! I got to hang out with two of my very dearest friends - Britni and Tiffany and their husbands. It was so much fun to get to see them - I wish we got to see each other more often!
May 25: Back in Waco! Memorial Day! Spent the day on Lake Waco with my parents! We did some fishing and I managed to get a very nice farmer's tan from my Under Armour tank top I had on. Classy. Saw Star Trek.
May 26: My parents and I went to Dallas to plan Allan's rehearsal dinner, order the groom's cake - it is going to be a camera! Yea! hotel arrangements, etc. Happy 30th Wedding Anniversary to my parents! I gave them a scrapbook from when they met when they were 16 until now! It was so much fun and they loved it!
May 27: Pedi/Mani and Lunch with my mom at this fun tea shop place then running errands and we met Spencer's mom for coffee at Starbucks! Yea! My Dad and I entered a fishing tournament on Lake Waco....we didn't win but caught 14 fish! Allan came in town from Lewisville!
May 28: Helped with wedding stuff, ate lunch with the fam, hung out with Allan. Had dinner with Britni! Yea! :)
May 29: I don't remember. Dinner with my fam and Spencer's fam. Spencer came in town! yea! 6 days apart is WAY TOO LONG!
May 30: Shower for Betsy in Lewisville. Leslie's wedding! Yea! She looked amazing and her cake was good, too! hehe Kaley's concert! Yea!
May 31: Back home to Florida! Yea!
June 1: We bought golf clubs for me! Yea! Now I have to practice...a lot! Since I don't have ANY pictures in this post...here's a pic of my new clubs! :)

Ok, that is it! Surprising, huh? You thought I was just going to keep on rambling. Well, I'm done now. :)

Who's going home?

If you watch American Idol, which I absolute LOVE and never miss an episode - then watch this:

She surprsied ya, huh!?

Speaking of American Idol.....

Who is going home tonight!?

I vote Lil. Sorry. She has a great voice but she was SO pitchy last night! I liked how she added her own gospel/soul twist to the song, though. Too little, too late. BYE.

So, my brother, Allan, came out to visit for Easter! Yea! He had never been out to visit before so it was so fun showing him around! He got in Friday early afternoon and left Sunday evening. We crammed in a lot of stuff - La Nopalera, our favorite Mexican food place, St. Augustine and the fort - yeah Ryan and Alison, yall know what I'm talking about! - grilled out buffalo burgers from Whole Foods, went to church, hiked around Guana State Park. Yeah, you could say we were busy! :) Did I mention we got a TON of candy?? It all went to Spencer and I's work. Gotta watch the figure! It's swimsuit season! ha

And for the parents, we HAD to take pictures! (It wasn't so bad....) :)
Easter Sunday Cookout of Buffalo burgers, amazing cheese and spicy chicken sausage! :)

In our backyard after church with Bailey Mae!

Now all three....aren't we cute

At the top of the fort in St. Augustine, the nation's oldest city

After lunch on Saturday at a hole-in-the-wall along the Intercoastal...they have the best fried shrimp!
