Happy Easter!

Easter. What a beautiful and sacred celebration. How fortunate are we that God would give His only Son as a sacrifice, that he loved so much, to cover our sins so that we may have eternal life with Him in Heaven. How humbling that God loves us THAT much. That thought can make a rough day easier and and any burden easier to bear - God loves ME and He will always be with me no matter what, in every situation. Thank you God for your ultimate sacrifice in Jesus and that He conquered death and Satan and arose again!

To celebrate Easter as a family of 3, we of course had to take Easter Bunny pictures. Of course, because that's what you do when you have kids. We dressed up Maddi in a yellow tutu chick outfit she had received and marched up to face the masses at The Domain in Austin. Lucky for us, there was no line! Lucky for us, their camera flash was not working so they let us take pictures with our camera for free! Woohoo! Even better. Maddi had just woken up from her nap so she didn't want anything to do with having her picture made. At least we have documentation of her first Easter pictures. :)

On Sunday, we went to church together and I fixed a roast for dinner. We just hung out around the house that afternoon.
